A game changer for policy makers and researchers has been published by UCFL: the 'Languages in Policy' platform. Free to use and available to all, it offers an easy way to locate and interrogate experts and published reports on the role of languages across a wide spectrum of policy areas including health and wellbeing, migration, justice, public services, economic growth, culture and heritage, international relations and more.
By Robert Ley, MHRA Languages and Policy Postdoctoral Researcher, and content and structural lead for the 'Languages in Policy' platform.

Languages expertise matters far beyond language education. Research in our field has relevance across numerous policy areas including health and wellbeing, migration and social cohesion, justice, public services, economic growth, culture and heritage, and international relations.
